Apple Notes is where startup ideas go to be forgotten. This is the step after the note: get it down in seconds, then send it off to be researched while you get on with your day.
Capture
The idea has about ten seconds before it is gone.
So there is nothing in the way of writing it down. Everything the app needs to know, it works out afterwards.
Type it
One button opens a sheet. No fields to fill in, no project to file it under, no decision to make before the idea is written down.
Attach it
A whiteboard photo, a screenshot, a PDF. Files upload while you are still writing, so saving is never the slow part.
Say it
Speak the idea and have the words appear as you go, transcribed on the iPhone itself wherever it can — for the ones that arrive while you are walking somewhere.
Research
Then find out whether it is any good.
Press the button and the answer is written back onto the idea, where it stays. Not into a chat window you will close and never find again.
